It has gone under many names, the zero point field, Aether, Vacuum Energy, Scalar Energy, Orgone Energy, Quantum Kinetics, the non-local energy matrix of creation and the non-local quantum hologram are a few. Every ancient culture on earth had a name for it. Plato called it the "Quintessence." He spoke of the primary elements earth, air, fire, water, and the aether which he believed to be the primordial energy of the universe. Aristotle spoke of it as the "Potentia."
Scientists up until the twentieth century believed a material aether supported the wave propagation of light. They viewed it as a "fluidic substance". The famous Michelson-Morley experiment failed to detect the expected aether wind produced by the earth's motion through it. At the turn of the century Einstein used this result to support his theory of special relativity. This theory became accepted by the scientific community and they rejected the existence of the aether. Classical physicists came to consider the vacuum of space to be truly empty. However, the idea of a primordial field underlying everything would not go away.
Einstein, when confronted with the anomalous behavior of galaxies in relationship to his mathematics, postulated a "Universal Constant" that supplied the missing elements to his equations, but he eventually recanted saying such an idea was "the worst blunder of my career." The "Universal Constant" was an idea whose time had not come. Although it clearly seemed to exist, it was too hard to prove.
In the 1930's when quantum machanics became accepted there arose a mathematical term in the description of the ground state of any oscillating system called the zero-point energy. The term "zero-point" refers to zero degrees Kelvin which means this energy exists even in the absence of all heat. Zero-point energy was interpreted as being INHERENT TO THE FABRIC OF SPACE ITSELF.
Nikola Tesla, the Serbian born genius who gave us alternating current and three phase motors, also demonstrated several inventions which he claimed ran on free energy from the primordial field. He was ridiculed and accused of trickery but no one ever proved a single instance of fraud. Tesla was self-taught, an intuitive and eccentric genius who cared little about the opinions and scientific dogmas of his day and knew how to make things work even if he couldn't fully explain the theory.
Wilhelm Reich discovered the "orgone" and found ways to study it. He built orgone accumulators which he successfully used for healing. He also did far reaching experiments in weather modification. Like Tesla and others, Wilhelm Reich was far ahead of his time and came into conflict with the scientific, medical, and religious establishment. It has always been so when new ideas come to be.
The fossil fuel industry is not particularly anxious for free energy to be developed. One of the best examples of out and out suppression can be seen in the attack against cold fusion. In the United States cold fusion has been debunked and ridiculed to the public, but very few know what actually happened. There was a systematic war of suppression waged against cold fusion.
Pioneers such as Tesla, Reich, and many other innovative thinkers were also ridiculed and suppressed by the power structure seeking to maintain its position at all costs. Nevertheless, these pioneers were able to experiment and discover many facts about the primordial field of energy. They left a wealth of material for us to appreciate. Today the aether or zero-point field is often referred to as the "energetic vacuum" to distinguish it from the old idea of a "material" aether.

- In atomic reactions (fission or fusion) only a tiny amount of its potential energy is released.
- Visible light is only a minute fraction of its spectrum.
- Scientists calculate that one cubic centimeter of space contains a minimum of 10 to the 125th power -watts.
- Understanding it involves an ongoing revival of the historically forgotten principles of electromagnetics understood by Robert Maxwell, Whittaker, and others, including Nikola Tesla, over a hundred years ago.
- The recursive heterodyning of wave propagation and phase conjugation is important to the tapping of this primordial energy.
- Sacred geometry and fractal mathematics yield practical objective insights into its profound nature.
- It manifests in space-time as energy and intelligence and is at the root of everything in space-time including thought, sound, stars, planets, and DNA.
- It is infinite energy and intelligence.
- It is nature herself.
- It manifests universal consciousness.
- It upholds and sustains the material world.
- The totality of natural law is enfolded within it.
- It represents all reality.
Obviously, it is hard to study by ordinary means because it is outside of space-time yet upholds and sustains space-time. In the past it was thought of strictly in the realm of mysticism. This unseen energy has a dubious reputation because charlatans continually exploit it; however, during the last 60 years the energetic vacuum has been proven and accepted by main stream physics.
Textbooks are now being rewritten.
