We have already begun to experience a new reality of our own making. The old one, like an outworn garmet, is about to dissolve and pass away forever.
In these days we have the opportunity to discover our true history. History that has been hidden from us until now. History which sheds light about where we came from, why we are in our present dilemma, the mistakes we made in the past and how you and I control our own fate and discover our own destiny.
Simply put, the choice we face is fear and terror or love and peace.
Look around you. Can you see it? Do you smell the odor of it? Can you sense the anxiety? The unrest? It is the same as a nagging fear of death, only this time around, the transition and transformation encompasses our whole Mother Earth and every being on her.
Is it the end of the world?
No. But it is the end of a worn out age and there will be plenty of sorting out in order to make way for the prophesied golden age - heaven on earth for those who have prepared themselves. But, does that mean perfection? Hardly... only an environment of sanity in which to seek the infinite--an eternal movement toward perfection which will never cease in Creation because movement is what all Creation creates. And where does this movement lead? To the One First Source of All-That-Is but movement toward it cannot cease because it is a forever living and growing Being.
What about the rest of earth's humanity who continue their present destructive and suicidal course?
For them, there will be more rounds of preparation within the proper environment to eventually offer them those same opportunities once again - but in the far distant future of linear time. The world's of time and space are infinite and water always seeks its own level.
All of us on planet earth are in the midst of a very unique and special convergence. Many cycles are coinciding all at the same moment in time.
Mother Earth and all her children, especially homo sapiens sapiens, is arriving at the crossroads. A huge reckoning is occurring. Nothing can continue as "business as usual." Our present civilization on planet earth is now proven to be completely unsustainable without a major make-over.
Everyone knows deep within the secret chambers of their own heart that everything is about to change in a way that has never occurred before in the entire conscious history of planet Earth and some are sensing a rare opportunity which is far too important to be missed.
What can bring peace in this time of inner turmoil, societal chaos, looming tyranny and the rolling drums of ever increasing violence and war?
The time has come to listen, re-evaluate, reconsider, rethink, cease to REACT and ACT with intentions which are in the genuine interest and highest good of all beings.
We already have all the wise men throughout the ages. When synthesized down to the core principles, their declarations are in complete agreement.
The Kingdom of Heaven, the One Source, the Great Spirit, the Holy Breath is within you. All of you. Some are more aware of it than others. This is a planet of forgetfulness and remembering is a large part of our journey here.
And, we are well able to seek and find. Along the way, we can also learn to appreciate and respect our intimate interconnection with each other and with the entire web of life, or we can create a living hell for ourselves on this planet through suicidal selfishness, greed and living in blind illusion apart from our own ever-present inner reality. Our choice.
The choice is yours and mine, and each of us must take our own course. We will receive accordingly--as we always do.
Let us meditate, contemplate and pray to create a peaceable and enlightened outcome for the sake of the future of our children.
You Already Create Your Own Reality
What is this thing we call “reality" anyway?
From the moment you were born you began to assemble your own personal knowledge about the world. It began with mother and continued with father and all other people and things you encountered while interfacing with the objective world. Some babies began life in an environment of abuse, neglect and terrible stress. Others were given nurturing love.
We all developed our individual view of reality over time. For some it was stress from the beginning and for others it was near bliss. As horizontal time progressed we experienced trauma in a greater or lesser degree along with times of joy and fulfillment.
We were all born into some variety of human culture and took on the views, ideas, religion, language and opinions of those around us.
We developed a point of view (POV) which was uniquely our own because the experiences of every individual human being vary. No one is exactly alike. Everyone’s world view is personally unique in some respects from those of others. We learned how to live and interact and interpret the outside world according to our own one-of-a-kind POV.
Thus, in one sense, we are all unique individuals yet fully interconnected. What we think and do effects other beings. We are like parallel universes each on our own individual time-line and yet continually over-lapping and interacting.
As our individual time-line linearly progressed we matured and constantly adjusted our views of reality about how and what the world is and this adjustment was according to our assimilation of new experiences and ideas. We were educated by many cultures and often we educated ourselves through life’s experiences, which also guided and developed our personal vantage point.
Since we are ALL different, we learned to accept and interact with others whose view of the world and themselves (reality) was different from ours to a greater or lesser extent. Of course, many things in our reality are the very same things agreed upon by others, such as what color something is or how objects appear in the outside world.
To put it another way, outwardly, we are all tiny parallel universes with slightly different or greatly different points of view about the world and how we fit into it. Those parallel universes often interface with one another and this overlapping can bring agreement, disagreement, enjoyment, sadness, peace or stress.
When a lot of stress, sadness, disagreement and pain occurs, we develop shields and defenses and armoring to protect ourselves. Much of this behavior is the subconscious effort of our thoughts and minds and bodies to protect our outward self and to harmonize that outward self with the world in which we must live.
Right now I’m writing this on my computer. When you read it, I will undoubtedly be doing something else. We will be having two entirely different experiences. My eyes and senses will be interacting and interpreting one thing and your senses will be interacting and interpreting what you see written down on this page.
How we view those experiences will also be different according to everything in our perception that has led up to the present moment. Outwardly, we have a different POV and understanding about what we are experiencing.
These differences are ALL outward and lead us to believe that each of us is an entirely separate being, especially when our culture and society tells us that reality can only be defined by those outward things.
Inwardly, however, we draw breath and life from the very same Source. Inwardly we are mutually connected to that very same First Source. That connection is what wise men throughout the ages have called our “spiritual connection.” It is an interconnection with the One Source of All-That-Is, which includes one another and also everything else which exists, such as Mother Earth, all Nature. the Great Creation and the ENTIRE UNIVERSE. Beyond this is the Creator. You can call it God, Father, Mother, Creator, I AM or one of a million other terms. Names do not matter because that of which I speak cannot be defined nor confined by a single name nor fully described by multiple names.
The Creator is beyond time and space--beyond thought itself. So, how do we know such a Creator exists? Because all Creation points to its Creator by its expressed Laws and Directives that govern everything from the sub-quantum level out to the largest star and beyond. But to witness this, one must be in the process of becoming aware of how the Universe operates and its most basic Laws, such as Cause and Effect.
He who seeks with all his body, heart, mind and soul... finds. And the wise souls who have graced us here on planet earth all found the same thing. All is ONE in the First Source.
How do I know that? How does anyone know that? Simply because they have consciously encountered that Spirit within and experienced its awesome beauty and all encompassing, omnipresent power as well as its energetic interconnectivity. It is infinite energy and intelligence. BEING itself. That BEING is the very Power that constantly upholds and nourishes the entire Universe and ALL its beings, at every moment, both in horizontal and vertical time - past, present and future - and in all dimensions and ratios of time and space.
How do such encounters with the inner Spirit occur? First, through asking the large and pertinent questions? “WHO am I? WHAT am I? Is there meaning to my life? WHY am I here? Is there ANY reason for my existence? Indeed, is there any purpose behind existence at all? When ones eyes become open to who they are, they see the Great Intention everywhere in the process of unfolding. This is revelation and is far more than the cognitive processes of our human biomind. It is the transcendent and yet we are still fully connected forever. It cannot be lost, only forgotten here on a planet of forgetfulness. Now, the time has come to remember and travel on with eyes fully open. In the scheme of things, we human beings on planet earth are beginning novices and have much to discover as we explore the multifarious worlds of time and space. Such is our destiny. But, the prerequisite is peace on earth and goodwill toward men.
Without asking the questions there can never be any answers. Some people deceive themselves and say “I don’t care.” Not so. It is an innate process constantly underway within our very existence to ask the pertinent questions and such inquiry is common to all men everywhere. It is an autonomic process, just as your lungs draw breath and your heart pumps blood, to ask "who am I?" and "what am I" and "where did I come from?" and "where am I going."
How do men answer such questions?
The first attempt is usually through some form of religion which is usually given to us from birth by means of the culture and society into which we were born. A human being becomes a seeker. One who wants to know the answers. Our religion usually begins to give some answers but those answers in themselves are seldom satisfying. One needs personal answers not outward forms, formulas and dogmas.
Can one find those personal answers? Or, is all of mankind doomed to always be out of touch in darkness and nagging misery? Will mankind continue forever to let so-called "expert" authority figures tell him what to think and how to behave?
Yes, indeed it is the suffering of ignorance to not know and understand who and what you are, Religion often tells us to trust in some outward form or icon or philosophy or systemitized ideal. We try hard to do that but it doesn’t work, if one is a seeker. It falls short to the seeker because it is and soon reveals itself to be the OPPOSITE direction one needs to go in order to find real answers. Seek first within, for there is where the answers reside.
Listen to what the truly wise men and Sages throughout the ages have always proclaimed in total agreement.
Look WITHIN.
If you don’t think anything is there, it is because you never sincerely looked. ALL those who sincerely and fervently seek - find.
When one finds even a tiny bit of Truth within, great encouragement comes and the seeker wants to drink deeper from that spring of Living Water regardless of the outward cost. And there is an outward cost since the movement of the world system is in the opposite direction. There is ALWAYS an outward cost since the shadowy world of anxious unbalance runs in contrary to the truth that sets men free.
So, everyone is faced with a choice.
How does this fit in with “creating your own reality?”
Our view of reality depends upon what we see in it. When we think of ourselves as separate from everything else, we easily develop a bitterness and enmity toward that which we consider to be “other.” We feel at odds with that “other” and our reality is molded by that opinion. We think of ourselves as a “victim” being put upon by all the “other” beings. Collectively we easily create a “victim mentality” which expresses itself as slavery, disease, racism, war, terror and chaos.
Most, if not all, of the problems going on right now on planet Earth are due to such creation of a “victim mentality”.
Our view of reality depends upon what we see in it. This changing POV is how we create our own reality. When we cognitively reframe our perceptions, a new attitude soon arises.
Here’s a great example given to me by Elia Wise who is one of my beloved teacher.
If your cat suddenly jumps on you in the middle of the night, the “reality” of that happening is dependent upon how you respond to it. How do you view such a happening? It could be with anger or it could be almost nothing because that’s what you expect your cat to do - or - it could be a very humorous event. It could be a living nightmare or it could remind you of how much you love your cat even though she’s inconsiderate at times. How do you view your cat?
Our view of reality depends upon what we see in it. What we see in it depends upon what we bring to it.
Here’s another way to view such an event. Your cat is an expression of the Source of All That Is. It is Almighty God expressing him/herself through the limitation of felinity. So many times your cat has blessed you greatly. When she curls up next to you, her soothing purr is always healing to your mind, body and soul. She always teaches you many lessons about living in the now-moment and not worrying about tomorrow. When she was sick, she trusted you to nourish her back to health and she’s been especially loving and cuddlesome to you ever since. When you look at her you are reminded of the majesty and nobility of her feline kin across the ages. How many ages have house cats lived with humans? Kings and Princes have admired them, sometimes even to the point of worship. You can understand why, because all one needs to do is look at a cat to know what security and peace truly is. Cats seems to have that quality without effort. We all long for it.
See what I mean? Your reality is dependent upon the depth of what you see. This is always true because the entire Universe is a MIRROR. Whatever you see is intimately connected to YOU. In fact it IS you because it has the exact same Source as you do and is nothing more than the reflection of your interpretation of it - that is your OWN POV.
Our reality changes when we begin to see and acknowledge the One Source (i.e. Creation/Almighty God) in EVERYTHING. When one learns to appreciate the varying expressions of the One Source manifesting from every direction, it becomes impossible not to see the creative opportunities that the Universe is constantly presenting to you at every moment. You miss such opportunities when you are at enmity with any “other” and feel that you are a “victim” not recognizing the universal quality of the “other” and its genuine status as an expression of the Source of All-That-Is.
To embrace those opportunities is creative, challenging, exciting and fun and also productive because through one’s conscious awareness of their connection with the Divine in all things, one interfaces in such a way as to open up tremendous communication and fellowship with the whole Web-of-Life and thus the entire cosmos.
There is a mission of consciousness in the Universe and it is the mission of reconciliation with all-that-is. It is expressed by six heart qualities: appreciation, compassion, forgiveness, humility, understanding and valor.
Such glorious Light makes it far less likely for men to hate their fellow beings or themselves because they know their real and genuine worth and the worth of all others. Such a view brings personal responsibility and care about whatever you discover and it is reflected back to you in the mirror of this far-flung Universe.
Such interfacing and interconnected communication brings awe and joy including overflowing appreciation for Creation and its creatures who are our fellows and very close relatives in the Universal Web-of-Life.
This changed POV can and will transform mankind and bless Mother Earth with healing, after having been abused, exploited, misused and ignored by those who treat themselves in the same way.
